Every rider knows the script. The driver "never saw you," the adjuster assumes you were speeding, and the first offer treats your injuries like an inconvenience. That bias follows riders across state lines, so we do too: Verde Law represents injured motorcyclists in all 50 states, and we build these cases to beat the prejudice and the insurer at the same time.
Insurance works differently for riders
Here is what most riders learn the hard way: in many states, including Florida, no-fault medical benefits do not cover motorcyclists. There is no automatic PIP check waiting for you. Your medical bills flow through health insurance, medical payments coverage if you bought it, and above all, the claim against the at-fault driver. That makes building fault and damages correctly even more important for riders than for anyone else on the road, and it makes your own uninsured motorist coverage one of the most valuable lines on your policy.
About the helmet
Helmet laws vary by state. Florida allows riders 21 and over to go without one when they carry qualifying medical coverage; other states require helmets for everyone. Wherever your crash happened, two things stay true. A bare head does not erase the other driver's fault. And it is medically irrelevant to injuries a helmet would never have prevented, like a shattered leg or a destroyed shoulder. We shut that argument down with medicine, not opinions.
How we beat the bias
Bias loses to evidence. We reconstruct the crash with scene data, vehicle damage analysis, and witness accounts. We document visibility, lane position, and speed with facts. And we present you as who you are: a rider who followed the rules and got hit by someone who did not look. The left-turning driver who "didn't see" you is the most common motorcycle case in the country, and it is a case we know how to prove.
The injuries are different, so the damages must be
Road rash requiring grafts. Fractures with hardware. Traumatic brain injuries even with a helmet. Riders' injuries are frequently permanent, which matters legally: pain and suffering is recoverable where the governing law allows it, and in Florida that turns on the permanent-injury threshold. We document your medical future with specialists, not just your current bills, because you only get to settle once.
The insurance company already offered me money. Should I take it?
Not before you know what the case is worth. Early offers are priced for people without lawyers. A free case review costs nothing and can reveal what the number should be.
The insurer denies their driver was at fault. Now what?
Then we prove it. Fault disputes are the heart of motorcycle cases, and evidence, not adjuster opinion, decides them.
I went down in another state. Can you still represent me?
Yes. We take motorcycle cases in all 50 states and apply the law of the state where you were hit.
No fee unless we win, and every step explained in English or Spanish. Talk to us before you talk to their insurer.
